"Time is always against us." - Morpheus, The Matrix (1999)
Sorry, I can't help it. :D I watched it again last night.. it never fails to drag me along in the journey of self discovery of Neo. On the sequels.. I just hope that they won't include Brandy, replacing Aaliyah who passed away in yet another tragic plane crash. Somehow, I doubt she'll fit in.. but anyway..

On another note, Deb - no I don't think that the time on the blogger's posting screen is correct. For the correct Malaysian time, check the posted time on the blogspot page. That's the correct one. I think the one on the blogger's screen is 1 hour ahead of Malaysian time. :-)

Yes Deb, the time and date of the blogs posted are changed to suit Malaysian time (that's +08.00 GMT)... You can do the math, if you know what time is it in GMT at your geographical location - just like Form 3 Geography, remember? Well, I see you have tonnes of books to read! Great... now you can tell me what books are great and all, then maybe we can even set up a book list in our website, so it becomes more personal and connected, yea? :-)
I am glad you finally posted something since all the while, only Leng and I post. I have invited Khairel and CMK, let's see if they are interested - if yea, then it'd be more fun since there would be some opinions and blogs from the guys' side. Let's just see how things go from here...
And again, great to hear from you!

So I finally managed to change the template of this blog. Took me some time to find out how to and took more time to realize that Blogger didn't automatically just upload the selected template. Sigh.. :-\ Sad huh?
Hopefully, I will get a new layout.. right after I figure out all those codes and jargons and thingamabob about Blogger...

I have finally finished reading The Testament. Compelling, riveting, and entertaining book that drove me to the edge reading it. John Grisham is a genius writer - I think he's just brilliant! On another note, I feel so excited since I have finally finished reading one book this holidays...
I think I will begin with the next one soon, maybe tonight, maybe tomorrow morning. Probably The Brethren (another of John Grisham's).. Maybe Tolkien's... I don't know yet, but reading is just so refreshing! I must admit I have not read a book for a long, long time. Sometimes, when you get detached from reading for so long it becomes a tad bit difficult to really complete even one book in a short period of time.

Gawd. I don't know how to express my feelings towards these inhuman, barbaric acts. Imagine, thousands of innocent lives could be gone because of these harsh, heartless, people. I don't understand why these things could still happen.
Was switching through channels.. MTV, Channel [V], and StarWorld, when I was like "Huh?" (NYPD Blue was supposed to be on). I was just going to dismiss it as one of the scenes in the series when I noticed that something is definitely amiss.. and I changed to the other news channels (that's the advantage of having Astro :) and whoa. All live coverages.
I'm still getting the shudders as I watched the news and flipped through The Star.
May the souls who perished in these unfortunate incidents rest in peace.
Devastingly enough, the news of Pentagon and WTC towers collapsing would definitely be a shocker for everyone. When I saw the two towers collapsing yesterday on CNN, I still couldn't put myself to believe that it was really happening in real life - everything looked too surreal to be true... I mean, don't all these things only happen in the movies? This will be a tragedy everyone in the world remembers.

So I am reading this very interesting book by John Grisham - The Testament. It is just riveting and refreshing. I am almost halfway through, and I have a very very long list of books-to-read. Nowadays, it seems the trend of me buying books without reading or finishing them, thus generating a growing amount of books. Leng has suggested that I should try to finish up JRR Tolkien's Trilogy by this holidays, (Deb has done that since last year) but I guess, I will leave that for the next hols. Have you read lately? Tell me.

Okay.. ah uhm.. I'm here.
Hm. What did I do today? Vacuum and mop the house. :D
Also, am trying to get a chat page to our website. Maybe we could come up with a time and day for a chat, to avoid anyone being a lone ranger in there.

One page to read. Three post-high-school girls. Unlimited topics to talk about. This is what brings the girls together, no matter the distance. They speak their mind and occasionally rant and share about life, music, college, technological jargons, socials, bad spelling and recipes.
Deb Lim http://thirdtimearound.blogspot.com
Currently residing in Grand Rapids, MI and studying some complex sounding course in Calvin College, USA. English Guru, but alas, her spelling often contradicts this fact. Nutty ever since her brain was messed up by Sze. Reads literature. Inspiring person to be with. Often incoherent yet thinks that this is a way of being creative. Perhaps she's right. You tell her.
Leng aka Jedariel
Quiet and introvert may be how she appears to most, but this is the ultimate trivia queen who rants relentlessly on well... trivial info. Rock music lover. Matrix-o-holic. Reads fantasy. Prim and proper. She thinks she is evil, but let's not believe her. Ask her just about anything in this world, and she still has an answer for you. Currently pursuing her digital design dreams in MMU.
Sze Ying http://szync.port5.com Non-conformist - or so she thinks. Designer wannabe and pseudo geek. Gung-ho but world class procrastinator and lazy bum. Jazz lover. Talks endlessly. Often corrects Deb's spelling on purpose to irk her. Used to sit next to Deb and messed up her brain. Needs moolah desperately. Be kind to her and hire her for any graphics job. Currently studying to be an animator.
