The name is christened by our chief adjudicator during our party, probably because of the colour, yes, and the sweet taste of rootbeer and orange cordial which pretty much dissolve any alcoholic resemblance.. All alcohol taste gross - in my opinion - unless you mix it with something... I don't think I can take pure alcohol. Don't worry, so you are not the only person who detest alcohol. And... just wait till you taste your first cocktail! :-) Or when you come back next year, I will make you a Orange Blood Martini or a Screwdriver....

why do you call it ribena when there's no ribena in it? color?
and you shouldn't drink anyhow and if you do, only a tiny bit (like quarter of a glass)
doesn't gin taste gross? anyhow i am glad that i detest all alcoholic beverages' taste, 'cept a little few.

In the dark, unlit dilapidated cubicle of a gloomy and stuffy late afternoon, I sit here in from of my monitor and look out of the window as I am typing this, wondering about a million things in life. I like to think alot whenever I can, but sometimes, I feel that thinking has plagued me like a dark, bitter illness that has no panacea. And at times - including this - I find that I cannot stop thinking about things which are unnecessary, or even perhaps, I don't know why I think about them in the first place. Then, I realise the imminent truth, that I have so many more questions unanswered. And they just keep growing on a steady pace, engulfing my existence. And sometimes I wonder about this. Alot. Will I reach to that door?

Anyhow, the secret ingredients for the Evil Ribena:

Gin
Rum
Rootbeer
Orange Cordial
Fruits - orange in this case (in the later stage, we added young coconut flesh... yummy)
A bit of Coke (no, not as in the drug coke, but Coca-cola(r))
A pail (that's the most we can get, staying in YMCA)
Chopsticks (to mix drinks)
Ice cubes (loads of 'em)

Mix 'em all.. Get glasses.. Ready to go.. :) Nice and sweet. And not too heavy.

1. I am really glad that you got into the deabte thign really well.....like i always said...you've the flair to infleunce ppl.......
2. I am very dissapointed with your alcohol overload...hm...btw, whta makes up evil ribena? cacat liyaw sze! never drink again....i hope that hangover really got to you! there are ppl that drink and they're not at all pleasnt then. It's really frightening how a person's personality(seemingly) could cahnge so drasticazlly form good to bad.
