5B2K reunion pending. More discussion soon enough. I am just hoping that when Deb's back, it will not coincide with the Asians Debates because I really want to go to Thailand.

I have just came back from a play, "The Vagina Monologues" which is adapted from Eve Ensler's interview with people on the issue of well... vagina. :-P It's rather interesting to see such a play, which I'd say is brilliantly weaved and well-performed by Joanna Bessey, Jerrica Lai and a Renuka something. Probably, the most fascinating part of the play is that it touches on sexuality in a different light. In the opening scene, there was a introductory video that poses questions like, What is vagina?, What do you think of vagina? What would it say to you? How would you dress it? et al.

Joanna Bessey was, as usual, brilliant in her role. However, worth noting here is definitely Jerrica Lai - whom I previously seen in The Merchant of Venice and Tea (both by Instant Cafe Theatre) - because she has just improved heaps and done a stellar performance in this play. Very interesting indeed. Afterall, I haven't been to any plays for quite some time, the last one being... dang, I can't even remember: Was it Crucible (Rep16:21) or Tea (ICT)? Oh anyway, a good play worth my RM 12.00 and a night's out. Celebrity spot: Saw Na'a Murad (brother of the more famous Jit Murad), Jeffery Ong (ex-national swimmer and otherwise known as TV3 newscaster/host), Pang (photographer/writer/actor), and Joanna herself! Also saw Kubhaer (of TMNet ad) but don't think he remembers me from Rep16:21.

All in all, The Vagina Monologues strikes me as one piece of brilliant work. I definitely need to get hold of Eve Ensler's book. However, I am just a tad bit disappointed it ran for only 1 hour. Rather short. Well, anyway, a few posts ago, I mentioned that my English class will be going for a play as well soon for one of our class trips inline with our Literature-Drama lessons now. My lecturer, Ms Azrena - a very cool, dandy lecturer (dubbed as one "cun beb" - hot babe for that matter according to two persons now) - mentioned about a musical going on at the National Theatre about a pair of Siamese twins, which I suspect is Chang & Eng... but if my memory doesn't fail me, Chang & Eng is over already. Dang, my memory is getting from bad to worse. Sigh :-/

Alright, enough of theatre rant for the moment. And... if you are interested to read Kakiseni.com's review on The Vagina Monologues, click here

Sze, if you think that your last post had just made me post here - well, what can I say, you just did it. :/ But I'd just want to clear one thing - there's absolutely no beautiful thoughts on my website! They were just boring rants and ramblings.

Oh yeah - how's any ongoing talks on the much awaited 5B2K reunion?

I am sadden by the fact that Leng blogs in her page with such beautiful thoughts but rarely speaks here. :(

Is there something about us plaguing her mind?

One page to read. Three post-high-school girls. Unlimited topics to talk about. This is what brings the girls together, no matter the distance. They speak their mind and occasionally rant and share about life, music, college, technological jargons, socials, bad spelling and recipes.

Deb Lim
http://thirdtimearound.blogspot.com Currently residing in Grand Rapids, MI and studying some complex sounding course in Calvin College, USA. English Guru, but alas, her spelling often contradicts this fact. Nutty ever since her brain was messed up by Sze. Reads literature. Inspiring person to be with. Often incoherent yet thinks that this is a way of being creative. Perhaps she's right. You tell her.

Leng aka Jedariel

Quiet and introvert may be how she appears to most, but this is the ultimate trivia queen who rants relentlessly on well... trivial info. Rock music lover. Matrix-o-holic. Reads fantasy. Prim and proper. She thinks she is evil, but let's not believe her. Ask her just about anything in this world, and she still has an answer for you. Currently pursuing her digital design dreams in MMU.

Sze Ying

Non-conformist - or so she thinks. Designer wannabe and pseudo geek. Gung-ho but world class procrastinator and lazy bum. Jazz lover. Talks endlessly. Often corrects Deb's spelling on purpose to irk her. Used to sit next to Deb and messed up her brain. Needs moolah desperately. Be kind to her and hire her for any graphics job. Currently studying to be an animator.
