Check out my spankin' red arm! On the first day it was much redder, very much like as if I was beaten up badly on my upper arms. But check it out. :) Note the difference of the fairer skin. I am gonna be soooo dark..... ARGH!

Deb, did you delete your last message? Were you drunk or high on some intoxicant?
We just came back from Port Dickson, not such a nice beach anyway. And I am so so so dark and sunburnt. Well, I'd give it a 5.6...an average trip. Not to say I didn't enjoy my days there, but with the dirty beach, and some of those room fiasco and alot of lung-blackening substances, I'd say it's just an okay trip.

wow...where did you guys go to...sunbrunt??? i head there's not enough water around now...why? dry season? i'd rather have no electricity than water.....
I think I did get sunburnt, although it doesn't show as much as Sze's, which is way way obvious (it's as if someone had slapped her arms over and over again). :D As for your webpage, Deb - yep, we are on standby anytime, for you. :)
How's the trip, Sze? In a rating of 10?..... perhaps I'll give it a four, or a five. Okay, a five, then. :|

rangeela is the name of the show international stud. put up annually. they called it rangeela casue it means colorful..we're suppose to represent the nations round the world..so colorful, varied. i got some pics ...and hopefully, if i get smart enough in techno stuff, i'd post it somewhere....(?) i wore a sari for the fashion show...represent the indians...two other m'sians did cheougsam and baju kebaya. there was skits, dances, and all that sort of thing from diffrent counries....well. actually, not really proplerly (a bit off) represent our caountires...i did indonesian..not nough m'sians to put up an act. the india ppl did a bollywood thingey..my favourite. a india romoe=juliet show and at the end, they had a dance..like in those movies where when the guy finally gets the girl, they have a dance thingy with singing to celebrate it...it was so funny the way they aggravated the accent and acting...Qoute: you're the spice in my chicken curry." said romeo (raoul) trying to court juliet (jyoti). haha ok so it's way corny

Sorry you are not in a very good mood while I am feeling happy. Just doesn't sound right for me to feel too good when someone I know is not happy. You know? It's like the group synergy thingy. Cheer up mate!

The song they used was Bedroom Fanatic. Sounded like something from Chemical Brothers - you know, techno, electronica music. Got sick of it after hearing it for the umpteenth time, for they play it over and over again while we were producing our work of art.
And I've added our blog to the BolehBlogs, after Sze asked me about it. I was waiting for a majority of two people to agree to this (uh yeah, since there's only three of us *shrugs*).
Basically, that's it. If you think this is too short, pardon me, but I'm not in a very good mood.

Lately, I have been doing a lot of reviewing. Reviewing how my life has zoomed through my life line. :) I wouldn't say it had been bad all these times, but then again, it hadn't been all too good either. But but.. having said that, I must say, at least I have a better picture on what's going right now. And it feels good to know where I am heading. :)
I am taking a break from the things I want to do right now. Taking a break i.e. disconnecting for a moment. Doing things at leisure. It's nice to know I can slow down while everyone rushes forward for a chase they don't even know about. It's really good to be slow but at the same time being able to see what's going on around me.

Glad that you had a blast with Rangeela. Is it an Indian festival kinda thing? Tell me more. :)
In the meantime, I am actually pretty busy doing my work here. I am actually glad I manage to finish quite a few this weekend, right after coming back from the IIDeC albeit being down with a cold and fever. :)
I have just finished doing Design Fundamental's Motion 1. I am not too sure about the project actually, but my friend, Syahnaz told me that basically I have to listen to the music and try to capture the rhythm and flow of the music onto the illustration board. It's very much free flow and I feel very very energized after doing that. Doing this kind of remind of when I was younger I would dream to be a painter and paint "life" right onto the canvas. I don't care how my artwork turned out to be, it doesn't really look too good actually, but I definitely like the feeling post-painting. I painted with Natalie Imbruglia's Beauty on The Fire.
One thing I realised however while listening to Natalie Imbruglia was the changes I have gone through since I first listened to her single, Torn. So you see, the whole process of transferring what I feel towards her music onto the illustration board was almost spiritual! Gee, I wish I was in class the other day. I want to know what music they used. Actually... I wish I have done this my whole life. Painting from music. Or painting from memories or thoughts. How beautiful! :)
I think I may as well do that from now on...

One page to read. Three post-high-school girls. Unlimited topics to talk about. This is what brings the girls together, no matter the distance. They speak their mind and occasionally rant and share about life, music, college, technological jargons, socials, bad spelling and recipes.
Deb Lim http://thirdtimearound.blogspot.com
Currently residing in Grand Rapids, MI and studying some complex sounding course in Calvin College, USA. English Guru, but alas, her spelling often contradicts this fact. Nutty ever since her brain was messed up by Sze. Reads literature. Inspiring person to be with. Often incoherent yet thinks that this is a way of being creative. Perhaps she's right. You tell her.
Leng aka Jedariel
Quiet and introvert may be how she appears to most, but this is the ultimate trivia queen who rants relentlessly on well... trivial info. Rock music lover. Matrix-o-holic. Reads fantasy. Prim and proper. She thinks she is evil, but let's not believe her. Ask her just about anything in this world, and she still has an answer for you. Currently pursuing her digital design dreams in MMU.
Sze Ying http://szync.port5.com Non-conformist - or so she thinks. Designer wannabe and pseudo geek. Gung-ho but world class procrastinator and lazy bum. Jazz lover. Talks endlessly. Often corrects Deb's spelling on purpose to irk her. Used to sit next to Deb and messed up her brain. Needs moolah desperately. Be kind to her and hire her for any graphics job. Currently studying to be an animator.
